We write about email marketing a lot on this blog, and a question Melissa gets all the time is how to get started in the first place. Since you can’t reap the benefits of email marketing without an email marketing account, we figured it was probably high time we put together some quick tutorials. I’ll be taking you through some of the major platforms and getting set up for email marketing success.

Hooray! You have an account. The next step is setting up your email list — this is what folks opt in to to receive your emails (so, it’s super important!).
While there’s plenty out there on growing your list (like offering download incentives), first you need a list folks can sign up for! In the next video, I’ll walk you step-by-step on how to put a list together on MailChimp.

Now you’re ready to rock ‘n roll with email marketing! The next piece of the puzzle is getting folks to sign up, and you’ve got a couple of options here. In this last video, I’ll take you through what those options are.
